Review by hotel critic
During my recent visit to Tudela, I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Santamaria, which truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel's historic charm and prime location provided easy access to the captivating sights of the city, including the 12th-century Cathedral and fascinating Jewish route, making it an ideal base for exploring the magnificent medieval architecture. The spacious double room offered a blend of comfort and modern amenities, a welcome respite after a day spent wandering the enchanting streets filled with rich history. I particularly enjoyed the friendly staff, who ensured that my needs were met and always had a smile, even when guiding me to the breakfast buffet just one floor up from the restaurant. The breakfast itself was a delightful affair with a variety of local dishes that resonated with my palate-what a treat it was to start each day exploring with such ample nourishment! I found the late-night dining options from the restaurant downstairs incredibly convenient after long days of adventure in the gorgeous landscapes around Tudela. For anyone planning a trip to this stunning region of Spain, Hotel Santamaria offers not just a place to stay but a memorable experience steeped in tranquility and rich cultural immersion. I left feeling rejuvenated, eager to share my adventures with fellow conservationists and travelers alike.
